2. Who these terms apply to

These terms govern purchases made on www.laceramicadiele.it. If you buy as a consumer, that is for purposes unrelated to a professional activity, you are entitled to all the rights provided by the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), which these terms do not limit in any way.

3. The products

Our ceramics are shaped and painted by hand. Every piece is unique: small variations in colour, shading and decoration compared with the photos are a feature of handcrafted work. The photos and measurements shown are as faithful to the product as possible.
Perfumes and cosmetics are sold in their original packaging.

4. Prices

Prices are in euro and include VAT. Any shipping costs are clearly shown before you confirm your order. For shipments outside the European Union, customs duties and taxes may be payable by the recipient (see Shipping & Returns).

5. How the contract is concluded

1. Add products to your cart and enter your details.
2. Before paying, you see the full summary: products, total price, shipping costs and delivery details.
3. The contract is concluded when you pay and receive our order confirmation email, which includes the summary and a link to these terms.

If a product is no longer available after you have ordered it, we will let you know straight away and refund you in full within 14 days.

6. Payment

We currently accept payments through PayPal, including by credit or debit card through PayPal, without needing a PayPal account where the service allows it. The amount is charged when you place the order.

7. Delivery

We ship worldwide by express courier (DHL, UPS, FedEx, BRT). Products are delivered within 30 days of the order, unless stated otherwise on the product page. Some items are made or finished after the order is placed. If we cannot meet this timeframe, we will let you know and you can choose whether to wait or cancel the order with a full refund.
The risk of damage or loss remains with us until delivery (Art. 63 of the Consumer Code).

8. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you receive the products, without giving any reason.

How: send us a clear statement to info@laceramicadiele.it. You can use the form below, but you don't have to.

Returning the products: send the products back within 14 days of your withdrawal notice to: Via San Giovanni 108, 53037 San Gimignano (SI), Italy. Please pack ceramics carefully, as they are fragile. Return shipping costs are paid by you.

Refund: we will refund you within 14 days of receiving your notice, including the cost of the original standard shipping, using the same payment method you used. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products or proof that you have sent them back.

You are only liable for any loss in value resulting from handling the products beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.

Exceptions (Art. 59 of the Consumer Code). The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• products personalised or made to your specific request, for example with names, lettering or decorations you have chosen;
• sealed perfumes and cosmetics that have been opened after delivery, for health and hygiene reasons.

9. Legal guarantee of conformity

All products are covered by the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity from delivery (Arts. 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code). If a product has a lack of conformity, you can ask for it to be repaired or replaced and, where provided by law, for a price reduction or a refund. To keep your rights, report the defect within 2 months of discovering it by writing to info@laceramicadiele.it.
The small variations typical of handmade work described in point 3 are not a lack of conformity.

10. Gift vouchers

• Gift vouchers are bought on the website in the amounts shown on the Gift vouchers page and paid with PayPal or by card.
• After payment we email the buyer the voucher as a PDF with its personal code, to print or forward to the recipient.
• The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used on the website, by entering the code at checkout, and in our shop in San Gimignano.
• It can be used several times: the amount spent is deducted and the rest remains available until the expiry date. If an order costs more than the balance, the difference is paid with PayPal or by card.
• The voucher is not personal, cannot be exchanged for cash and no cash change is given. After the expiry date any unused balance is no longer available.
• Keep the code safe: anyone who knows it can use it. If the code is lost, write to us at info@laceramicadiele.it.
• Products bought with the voucher are subject to the normal terms of sale, including the right of withdrawal: if you return them, the amount paid with the voucher is credited back to the voucher.

11. Complaints and disputes

If you have any problem, write to us at info@laceramicadiele.it: we reply within 5 working days.
The contract is governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, any more favourable protection provided by the law of the country where you live still applies, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the court where you live. You can also use the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures provided by the Consumer Code.
